Evan Voytas wowed us last year with his dreamy pop anthem “ASTRO”. His music has an irresistible nostalgic swoon, featuring infectious drum machine beats and warm synths, all the while rooted by his helium-laden vocals. The dark romanticism of the synth pads on latest single “Sad Like Hearts Can Be” recall Vangelis’ love theme for the 1982 film “The Year of Living Dangerously”, which in our opinion is a great thing. A full-length album is reportedly due later this year, but in the meantime grab the new track below.
