Halloween brings us the first new track from Dum Dum Girls’ forthcoming lp Too True. The album is out January 28 on Sub Pop and will be preceded by two more singles – “Are You Okay” and “Rimbaud Eyes”. Give “Lost Boys And Girls Club” a spin below.
A true artist. A true icon. Your legend will never die. Rest in peace Lou Reed.
The Sky Report returns to CMJ this Thursday for a joint unofficial party with Supercrush Studio and Bushwick Daily. We are super excited to bring some of our favorite electronic dream pop acts to Bizarre this Thursday, October 17 at 8:00pm. Bizarre is an amazing absinthe bar and burlesque club in Bushwick that has been largely untapped for shows of this kind. The lineup features TSR faves Psychic Twin, Andre Obin, and Foxes In Fiction, as well as a pair of awesome newer acts Orange Gold Red and Public Speaking. Check out some music from the lineup below. We hope to see you there!

So these new remixes of tracks from The Knife’s bonkers 2013 album Shaking the Habitual are proving that maybe it’s time to revisit the album. The latest is a rework of “Raging Lung” by Hannah Holland. If you missed the last one from Planningtorock, definitely check it out here.
Brooklyn trio Wet have shared another track from their new self-titled ep. “Don’t Wanna Be Your Girl” is another quietly romantic song and our favorite one yet. The ep comes out next week on Neon Gold.
Blood Diamonds is returning with the new ep Osaka, his first effort for Skrillex’s label OWSLA. The title track has surfaced and shows the producer blending his signature tropical meets sci-fi sound with a more aggressive assault.
Swedish/Australian twin sisters Say Lou Lou have covered one of our favorite tracks, Tame Impala’s incredible “Feels Like We Only Go Backwards”. The cover is a nice flip to the original, giving the track a more minimalist, romantic feel.
