AMDISCS: Futures Reserve Label are always reliable when you’re in the mood for some leftfield, spacey-synth weirdness. Today the label released With Love, the latest album from Luxury Elite. I was instantly taken with the track “Midnight”, but when I dove into the whole album it felt like I was listening to the lost score of an early 80′s adventure/romance B-movie. Now I wish I could just find the lost movie to accompany it. I’m gonna start by looking here.

FOUR TET – For These Times

Forward-thinking dance label Nonplus Records have released the Think and Change compilation, which features the new Four Tet track “For These Times”. And in related news, Four Tet has also remixed the Justin Timberlake comeback single “Suit & Tie”. The rework is noticeably steamier than the original. Check out both tracks below.

“Blood Flow” is the stuttering new single from James Ferraro‘s forthcoming LP mixtape Cold. All 17 tracks included on the mix were written by Ferraro on piano. Cold is due March 26 via Hippos In Tanks.

We’re still eagerly awaiting the release of After Dark II, the follow-up to the Italians Do It Better comp that helped Glass Candy and Chromatics eventually reach a larger audience back in 2007. But today we have a preview from the sequel – “The Possessed” is one of a few new tracks that Glass Candy have contributed.
